La quatrième sortie de l'Unité de Recherche Spatio-Sonore de Californie Française est un objet double, réunissant un CD et un DVD. Il est réalisé conjointement avec l'inestimable label Desastre.

Réalisé à partir d'enregistrements sonores et vidéos de deux concerts du trio France (lors de la tournée Up-Tight/France 2017 年11月ツアー), Metzoïde est une claque tout autant sonore que visuelle. Cette double captation explore les mêmes axes que Pour ceux qui m'entourent (triple film spatialisé déjà réalisé avec le groupe), mais d'une manière plus intime et mouvementée.

Metzoïde n'est pas la vidéo d'un concert de France. Elle est une façon comme une autre de faire le concert ; elle rend physique, sensible, tangible les bousculades, les éblouissements captés par l'appareil, et dans leur prolongement, vécus par le corps l'ayant tenu.
C'est 52' de live sonore brut sur CD, et 15' d'images mini-DV d'une plongée subjective et sensorielle sur DVD.

The fourth release of URSS,CF, co-produced with the incredible Desastre label, brings together a CD and a DVD for an audiovisual blast.

Made from sound and video recordings of two concerts of France trio (during the tour Up-Tight / France 2017年11月ツアー) Metzoïde is an audiovisual slap. It explores the same path as Pour ceux qui m'entourent (a research film previsously made with the band), but in a more intimate and turbulent way.

Metzoïde is not the video of a France's concert. It's a way to make the concert ; it makes the pushings & glares real, physical, sensitive & tangible.
It's 52' of raw live sound on CD, and 15' of a visual dive into... something.
